Heat Pumps for Community Heating
Daikin have launched a heat pump system for apartments based on VRV technology used in many commercial properties.
The Altherma system can deliver flow temperatures of 80 deg C for heating and domestic hot water up to 70 deg C. At these temperatures the systems can deliver COP’s of 3.5, offer cooling as an option and have heating outputs from 23 to 45KW.
