Escape the city heat

On larger projects, the VRF system is often the preferred choice. In modern buildings, with air tight insulation and high IT requirements, there is a need for cooling all year round.

The VRF system works in a modular form where multiple indoor units are connected to the outside unit. The benefits of this are easy to see, as the VRF system not only matches the internal loads with a variable speed inverter compressor, but it can also recover waste heat created when cooling. This can be used to heat other parts of the office or supplement your hot water requirements.

VRF has become the standard system for offices, retail outlets and hotels due to its flexibility. The ease of installation makes it ideal for retrofits and the energy savings it offers makes it an environmentally responsible option.

Examples of our VRF installations include:

British Telecom – 14,000 sq ft call centre in York. Replacement of the existing comfort cooling and ventilation system. All works carried out at night, keeping the critical call centre operational throughout.

Jury’s Hotel – 140,000 sq ft, 445-bedroom hotel in Birmingham. The refurbishment was carried out whilst the hotel was operational with minimal disruption.
