BT needed to create more space in their iconic BT Tower. They did have a spare office however it wasn’t used as it got extremely hot in the summer and required asbestos removal before any work could be done.
BT approached Temperature Control in order to find a quick solution and turn a redundant space into a functional meeting room.
With a small window of opportunity and a tight budget Temperature Control took on the project and transformed a derelict room into an operational working space within a week.
Acting as Principle Contractor Temperature Control carried out all aspects of the project from the R&D survey and the careful removal of the asbestos to the builders work, insulation, mains electrical wiring and finally the installation of the air conditioning installation.
Temperature Control completed the project within the 7 day timescales using a Mitsubishi Electric application, with the external condenser located an a flat roof above.
The project was completed under our strict Health & Safety guidelines and with the support of a specialist asbestos company along with various other trades.
