Project Overview
One Blythe Gate stands proudly on the main entrance road into Blythe Valley Park. Built in 1997 the office had an extensive refurbishment in 2019 to DDA compliance and rated BREEAM excellent. Benefitting from Daikin VRV IV heat recovery air conditioning systems throughout, energy-efficient LED lighting, the building also includes a fully flexible floor plate division, shower facilities, locker rooms & changing facilities.

Project Description
Temperature Control Ltd carried out the supply and installation of 13No Daikin VRV IV heat recovery VRV condensing units, within the roof level plant deck, connected to 138No ducted type indoor fan coil units across three floors. 4No Daikin ducted split systems to serve the large seated reception/waiting, with all systems operated by I-Touch Manager centralised control, located in the security office adjacent to the reception desk.
Project Outcome
The building is designed for flexible, modern working, and its substantial open-plan space is ideal for events and entertaining. Using BCO design, the air conditioning systems can be easily adapted, through CAT B design, to serve a productive and collaborative work area with the addition of contemporary meeting pods or private offices.
